The successful operation of any organization depends on how its members interact. In every workplace, people talk about building the team, working as a team, or how to develop an effective team. Building an effective team requires skills and techniques. In a team-oriented environment, team members contribute to the overall success of the organization. They work with fellow members of the organization to produce better results. Even though they have a specific job function and belong to a specific department, they are unified with other department members to accomplish the overall objectives. By working in teams one can see a bigger picture that will drives one’s actions to synergize with others to serve the organization as a whole.
