Meetings are key tool in the successful management of business activities. It plays a very important part in the affairs of most businesses and most managers have to plan and chair meetings. However, unless a meeting is carefully planned and effectively run, it is unlikely to achieve its objectives and it will waste hours of time and efforts. Delegation, on the other hand, is one of the most important management skills. Done well, delegation is a “Win-Win-Win” for you, your subordinates and your organization. Effective delegation frees management time to allow you to pursuit higher leverage tasks or priority goals. It also helps develops your people, grooms successors, and retain subordinates. Poor delegation, on the other hand, causes frustrations, de-motivates and confuses the other person, and fails to achieve the task or purpose itself. Most effective delegations are done in an effective meeting environment, thus, these skills are of utmost important to managers.
This training workshop emphasizes the principles and best practices of effective meetings and delegation skills. It gives participants the combination of a clear process, tools and techniques for leading and participating in productive meetings as well as the correct skills, process and approach to delegate effectively to get the desired results.
